This is a story about challenging a long-standing status quo and deep-seated beliefs, about the inventive ways one dwarf seeks to express the fact that times truly are a-changing - and about resistance that can only be dealt with by patiently chip-chipping away at it. After all - a drop of water will carve stone, if given enough time.
Also featuring a truly spot-on characterization of Gimli - a leader and shrewd tactician but also a dwarf as persistent - or stubborn - as they come. I love him a lot, all right.
