Re: the Gimli/Legolas WIPs I mentioned the other day

So I was writing this thing that was supposed to be short and smutty with all the feels... and had a sudden lightbulb moment and before I knew it, the damn thing had started spawning chapters.

I have rough outlines to at least five already *facepalm*

(And this is a new tack to tackle the unfinished WIP anxiety: if I chronicle my progress, maybe there will be some progress? Worth trying, no?)

I just went and took a peek at Tumblr...

...and really I didn't miss a thing. It's an utter, complete, stupid clusterfuck.  A giant dumpster fire. (I mean more than usual.)

So I set my queue back up and logged out again. I'm going to post a fic rec on Friday as usual (crosspost here), and I'll need to clean up some outdated posts from the blog at some point, but otherwise... I'm just too tired to give a flying fuck. I've posts queued up for the next two weeks or so, and more waiting in the drafts if I want to go back, but right now -- I just can't.

Maybe sometime next year. Maybe not. Maybe this could be home.
