Here's a tiny snippet of ch. 2 of A Beloved Ballast, an Untethered Soul that's still fighting me tooth and nail, probably because I'm trying to make it do something it's not equipped to do... (should have sticked to the PWP).

So I was writing this thing that was supposed to be short and smutty with all the feels... and had a sudden lightbulb moment and before I knew it, the damn thing had started spawning chapters.

I have rough outlines to at least five already *facepalm*

(And this is a new tack to tackle the unfinished WIP anxiety: if I chronicle my progress, maybe there will be some progress? Worth trying, no?)
