This is a fill for one of my prompts in The Two Thousand Fics on AO3 Gigolas Challenge, more precisely a request for very specific kind of angst with a side-order of love unconfessed. I dared my fellow writers to make me cry.

So, that warning out of the way, @raisingcain-onceagain's story does all that I could have wished for when I entered the prompt, and then some. It’s touching, delightful and surprising at turns -- and yes, it will make you cry, but you’ll be grateful for it (that is, if you’re an inveterate angst muffin like myself).
