This piece offers an interesting dichotomy: on one hand, it deals with a kink, and a rough sort of kink at that - but on the other, it’s about 90% aftercare… and that, my friends and internet strangers, is so tender and soft and intense that I can’t help but melt a little a lot, like, into a happy puddle sort of lot. Because you see, these two love each other so very much, and they’ve figured out this thing and made it work like a well-oiled machine… and when I say "work", I mean it works, if you know what I mean.

And of course, I would be remiss not to mention the beautiful, beautiful writing that makes the story move from one mood to another with evocative variations of rhythm and pace, enticing the reader with inventive, poetic imagery, and evoking a sense of time, place and setting with few but well-chosen details.

To sum it up, this is a treat that makes for both a quick distraction and something to warmly remember afterwards.
