Just realized that a certain WIP turns one year old on Saturday, and I meant it to have two chapters since the beginning...

Why can't these things edit themselves? Asking for a friend

I'm sorry, I'm laughing slightly at your pain, but only in a very fond, loving way! (Hey, you could make your goal to have the second chapter out on the anniversary? Only if that's doable, of course; no pressure! I just get all excited about significant dates and full-circle things.)

I'm not, don't worry :) If anything, I'm beating up that stupid pile of words that won't co-operate (usually feeling this fed up with the text is a sure sign I'm very close to posting...)

But ack, it's so annoying! I've written very serviceable smut at the drop of a hat, but for some reason this piece is giving me grief (I suspect it's all the stuff around the X-rated parts. It has mood swings.)
