This week's rec is of an older vintage - in fact, it's brought to you courtesy of the wonderful Wayback Machine. Which is a great coincidence, since I noticed AO3 is going down for updates tonight.

But enough background; the main thing is that this is one of those blessed stories that make me laugh far too loud - while getting decidedly hot under the collar.

Because the premise is taken to its utmost, and then a bit further, Legolas a far too good actor for his own good, Gimli has a mischievous streak a mile wide, and the whole thing is wrapped up in the sort of easy Established Relationship Banter(TM) I'm permanently weak for.

Also it's a wonder it's not fogging up the screen.
