Summary:
What first drew Legolas to Gimli?
Short, sharp-edged, and strangely compelling. Also features one of my favourite characterizations of Legolas -- somewhat different than what you usually find in fic, but nonetheless quite true to canon.
Because if your heroes are warriors, it must follow that they are killers as well, and there's no reason for that to be cute.
