Just a slow, warm and compassionate slice-of-life about recovery, new beginnings and hope. (You know, the kind of story that abounded back before we were told subverting expectations is a goal unto itself…)
This is also a delightful take on the trope of force-sensitive Finn-- I especially love that the road to self-discovery is not painted entirely merry and straightforward here; after all, he’s carrying quite a bit of baggage with him.
Last but not least: the story is a perfect length to keep you away from the news for a good few hours.
